Chelsea Flatwoods Nature Preserve is a large Nature Conservancy property that ranges from quite soggy in the spring to much drier in late summer. There are no established trails, but I’ve found the understory rather open, which makes navigation easier if sometimes damp.
Directions
Clark County. From the intersection of IN 56 and IN 62, south 3.0 miles on IN 62, then right on 500 South. The preserve will be on the right for the next 0.7 miles.
