Horticultural Park

Horticultural Park is a woodland oasis on the western edge of the Purdue University campus. Trails meander through the park, and though it receives considerable use for teaching (and perhaps research) purposes, the overall ambiance is appealing, save perhaps noise from nearby US 231 and a rather close approach to the back yard of the Purdue President’s mansion.

Directions

Tippecanoe County. From US 231 X IN 26, east about ¼ mile, then left on a small drive across from Dexter Lane. Continue to a small lot at the end.
