Tangeman
Nature Preserve

Tangeman Nature Preserve is home to a short loop trail with more than 50 numbered and closely spaced stations through gently rolling woods. There are ravines and numerous small bridges. The terrain is nice but the considerable noise from adjacent IN 46 is continuous and annoying.

Directions

Bartholomew County. From I-65 Exit 68, west 3.5 miles on IN 46 to Country Club Rd; right 0.1 mile to stop sign, then left and continue to a new parking area by the west side of the preserve, near the recycling center. Parking is no longer permitted at the fire station.
