The Middle Wabash-Little Vermillion Watershed drains approximately 1.32 million acres in western Indiana. It drains most of Fountain County, Parke County, Tippecanoe County, Vermillion County, and Warren County, a large portion of Benton County, and parts of six other Indiana counties. There are many smaller watercourses in this watershed, including Big Pine Creek, Burnett Creek, Sugar Creek, and Wea Creek, and the Vermillion River.

The water in the creeks and rivers in this watershed eventually find their way to the Wabash River, which in flows into the Ohio River. The Ohio then joins the Mississippi River, which empties into the Gulf of Mexico.
