St Joseph-Maumee Watershed

The St Joseph-Maumee Watershed drains part of Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio. The watershed is centered on the St Joseph River, which rises in south-central Michigan and flows in a generally southwestern direction toward Fort Wayne, where it joins the St Marys River to form the Maumee River. In Indiana, the St. Joseph-Maumee Watershed drains nearly all of DeKalb County as well as parts of Allen County, Noble County, and Steuben County. The watershed drains about 390 thousand acres in Indiana. Cedar Creek is probably the most notable Indiana tributary of the St. Joseph (Maumee) River.
