A footpath angles northeast through a farm field, soon entering woods that border Cedar Creek. The preserve is (for now, at least) the northernmost of a constellation of ACRES preserves that line Cedar Creek. Lots of birds, butterflies, and wildflowers, some noise.

DeKalb County. From I-69 Exit 326, east ¾ mile on CR 11A, then left 0.65 mile on CR 427, then right 0.3 mile on CR 52 to parking area on left.
