Clayey, High Lime Till Plains Ecoregion, shown in Orange
The Clayey, High Lime Till Plains ecoregion is now largely agricultural but once was home to beech forests and scattered elm-ash swamp forests. Streams flow slowly and tend to be full of suspended matter and agricultural runoff. Fish communities in those streams are unexceptional. Source: US EPA
